Erick mafuta né à Kinshasa 1986 dans la République démocratique du Congo, fait ses études humanitaire et universitaire à l'Institut et Académie des beaux arts de Kinshasa . Erick est sans aucun doute parmis le jeune peintre congolais d'opter des beaucoup de talent. Sa peinture généralement en huile, acrylique et collage de papier sur toile ,avec une palette tantôt vive, tantôt sombre, tantôt pâle sans toujours signicative qu'il exploité dans de multiples styles. Erick Mafuta was born in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, in 1986. He pursued both his secondary and higher education at the Institute and Academy of Fine Arts of Kinshasa. Widely recognized as one of the most promising and talented young Congolese painters, Erick Mafuta has developed a distinctive artistic voice through his work. Working primarily with oil, acrylic, and paper collage on canvas, his paintings are characterized by a palette that ranges from vibrant and expressive to dark and contemplative, as well as soft and delicate. Through these contrasting tones and techniques, he explores a variety of artistic styles and visual narratives.

Issue d’une famille d’artistes peintres, Blandine étudie l’art lyrique et diverses explorations de techniques artistiques. Elle souhaite ensuite exprimer par la matière ce qui vient du plus profond d’elle-même. Chaque pièce, issue de ce travail d’écoute, est le reflet d’un ressenti, d’une émotion, d’un chemin de vie. Utilisant des matériaux du quotidien elle aime les anoblir par l’ajout de matières, de couleurs : matériaux recyclés, tissus, papiers, inclusions d’éléments métalliques, résines… Elle détourne les objets du quotidien, tout en gardant leurs symbolique, pour aller vers un univers décalé et surprenant qu’elle affectionne. Born into a family of painter artists, Blandine studied lyrical art and explored a wide range of artistic techniques. She then sought to express, through materials, what comes from the deepest part of herself. Each piece created through this process of attentive listening reflects a feeling, an emotion, and a personal journey. Using everyday materials, she enjoys elevating them through the addition of textures, colors, and diverse mediums: recycled materials, fabrics, paper, embedded metal elements, resins, and more. She transforms ordinary objects while preserving their symbolic meaning, leading them into an offbeat and surprising universe that she particularly cherishes.
